WHY CHOOSE MICROBLADING?
Microblading, also known as "the hair stroke technique" is a pmu brow service that utilizes a hand held microblade to simulate realistic hair strokes, creating fuller + more feathered brows. This style of brow tattoo is the most natural, and may be a better option for age mature clients or people who simply want more of a natural textured eyebrow hair look.
WHY CHOOSE OMBRE POWDER SHADING?
Ombre powder shading is for those whole prefer the "makeup" filled in look.
This technique consists of shading that is solid and darker at the tails and gradually lightens towards the front, creating an ombre effect. The goal is to create soft, misty fronts for a natural and subtle look.
WHY CHOOSE COMBO BROWS?
PMU Combo brows are for those who want the "makeup" filled in look with more textured fronts. This style of brow tattoo utilizes a combination of both techniques, microblading and powder shading, to create a simulation of hair strokes beginning in the fronts of the brows, leading into solid powder shaded tails.
HOW LONG DO PMU BROWS TAKE TO HEAL?
Brows will take about 4-6 weeks until they reach their final look. It only takes 2 weeks for scabbing process to complete. After 2 weeks, you can return to normal routine and activities. 30 day touchups are necessary to complete brows and are included with initial brow appointment cost. Same healing cycle to repeat after 30 day touch up. *See PMU after care page to view complete healing process*
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO TOUCH UP?
We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 9 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.
DOES PMU HURT?
Most of our clients report very little to no pain. When microblading, we leave a topical anesthetic on the eyebrow area for 30 minutes before we begin the process, so this leaves most clients numb during the procedure. Numbing cream is reapplied a couple times throughout the microblading procedure to ensure the client experiences the lest amount of discomfort as possible.
WHO IS MOST SUITED FOR THIS PROCEDURE?
Clients with dry to normal skin are perfect candidates for microblading, not too oily or sensitive. Our Artist will sometimes suggest Combo Brows for client’s with moderately oily skin, as oily skin clients are better suited for Powder Brows for optimal ink retention. Ultimately you can microblade on any skin type, however using the hair stroke technique on oilier skin, may result in the individual hair strokes healing not as crisp and clean (ink expanding in the skin over time), or the ink not retaining in the skin as well as it would in dryer skin types.
can i get microblading over an old brow tattoo?
Microblading can be done over an existing brow tattoo, however the old tattoo must be significantly faded for the hair strokes to show through and look natural. If you currently have microblading or permanent makeup from another artist, we cannot guarantee a successful procedure and ask you to please email or text a clear, recent photograph of your eyebrows in good lighting, and wait for our ‘okay’ before scheduling an appointment.
are results guaranteed?
Individual results may vary due to skin type, general health, and proper adherence to the aftercare protocol. No guarantees can be made and additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply, and no refunds are given for services rendered.
MAINTAINING YOUR BROWS
Microblading is a 2-step process, taking two full appointments to achieve desired results. For this reason your 6-8 week touchup appointment is complementary. After the complementary appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experience the fading process differently, and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year. "Minimal touch ups" are made available if certain hair strokes on the brow fail to retain ink following a recent visit; these are accepted by case basis. NOTE: All touchup prices are determined by calculating the time since your last paid appointment.
Within 6-8 Weeks Complementary
After 6 months $350
After 1 Year $550
After 2 Years $600
